Tree Bingo
Summary
Just like the classic game BINGO, except Tree Cards are used instead of BINGO Cards. Enjoy BINGO and at the same time learn tree names.
# of Players
BINGO is best played in large groups (Summer Camps, Outdoor Clubs, etc.).
Set-Up
Master Deck: 1 deck of all 50 Tree Cards serves as the draw pile. This is the pile from which the Master of Ceremonies (MC) draws.
Player Boards: All other participants select 9 Tree Cards from a deck of tree cards (no duplicates). Up to 5 players can select their Tree Cards from 1 complete deck. Each player lays their set of cards face-up to create a 3x3 board (3 cards high x 3 cards wide - like a tic-tac-toe board).
How to play
1. The MC shuffles the complete set of 50 tree cards and places the pile face-down.
2. The MC draws the top card and announces the name of the tree species.
3. All players look for the tree species card in their 3x3 grid. If a player has the card, they turn it over and leave it face down in its current position on the board (cards are only turned over and can not be moved around or reordered).
4. REPEAT steps 2 & 3 until a player has turned over 3 tree cards in a row (again just like tic-tac-toe and BINGO).
5. The first player to complete a row, column or diagonal is the Winner!
