Cloud Cards
Introduced in the Timber Stage
Game Use: In the Timber & Elder Stages, habitat cards are affected
by weather. There are two (2) types of Weather cards: Clouds & Trends. Each
habitat can have one cloud & one trend card. Weather cards can change a
habitat's climate and enable powerful natural disasters to wipe out
trees.
Description: There are eight (8) different Cloud cards. Each card is modeled after a real cloud formation. The card shows the name and international symbol of the major cloud type, base altitude at which the cloud typically forms, and a picture of the actual cloud formation. The card also shows the cloud's influence on Fire and Wind disasters, and presents general information about the cloud formation in a descriptive paragraph.
Real World Applications: These are real photos and real information about real clouds. The cards are excellent for:
